Asheville artist Emily Crabtree creates abstract two-dimensional work about memories and the passage of time.
Check out this time lapse video of the making of Crabtree's cut paper installation, "Fibers of Recollection" made by her husband, Jason Treadway. It is quite lovely.

I like your blog, I live in Carkesville, Ga. and I had not even thought about Asheville till I stumbled across this blog. I will put it in my favorites and check in to see what you have going on up there.Its not a far trip for us and I have heard lots of good things about Asheville from people I know who have been there.
